Target Audience:

 1500 women of reproductive and productive age.

 Objective of Project:

 Contribute to the alleviation of poverty and poor health through the empowerment of rural women in Bara district.

 Women in Politics:

 ”I am proud of being a member of women group because my community supported me for electing in municipality election as ward member and provide me social moral value even I am a dalit. I am getting support from my family members and neighbors”

After the participating in NYSC Program, she performs well and able to take the attention of their family members, group members attention. Group Member, family member and neighbor supported for electing in Municipality election in the post of ward members.

Women participation for asset creation:

28 year old Ganga Rawal of Amlekhganj VDC, a participant of Post level literacy under Nepal Women poverty Alleviation project, create an opportunity of earning money through small CD shop. After participating in this program she aimed to earn money for daily needs. She enabled to read the name of Film, write the prices of CD and keep records. She started a small CD shop at her village by investing Rs 23500. Her economical status was so poor. She is helping her family from her small income. She cares her child for continue school enrolment. Now she seemed very happy and regular participating in class.
